Mary Elizabeth Clark was posthumously
awarded the United States Congressional Gold Medal for her World War II volunteer
service in the Civil Air Patrol on July 8, 2022 at Jackson County Airport.
A great follow up to practice is to immediately to the real thing. Halfway through Operation Wolverine this past weekend, cadets transitioned to a real mission of collecting airborne photos of the tornado path in Gaylord, Michigan.

On September 25th, a change of command ceremony was held at Willow Run Airport where Col Chris Ballard received the Michigan Wing flag in a traditional passing of the colors indicating a formal transition of authority and continuation of trust. Congratulation to Col Ballard and thank you to Col Kothari.
