Parent & Guardian Information
Medical Conditions
It is very important that the encampment staff is aware in advance of any medical conditions that may affect your cadet's ability to participate in any aspect of encampment. This includes any physical limitations, recent injuries, dietary restrictions, and medications. This information is crucial for the safety and well-being of all attendees.
Medications
All medications, including supplements, must be in their original packaging with the cadet's name clearly labeled. It is preferred to send only the quantity of medication needed for the encampment duration, plus a few extra doses. Please do not send excessive amounts of medication.
All medications, medicated creams, and supplements must be listed in the cadet's CampDoc health profile prior to arrival at encampment. Over-the-counter medications such as Ibuprofen and Tylenol will be available on an as-needed basis if you provide authorization in CampDoc.
Religious Services
The Michigan Wing Encampment provides access to a variety of religious services for those who wish to attend. If your cadet wishes to attend services of a specific denomination, please indicate their religion during the registration process. The encampment chaplain will provide information about religious services in the local Alpena area at the beginning of encampment. A non-denominational service may also be available on base.
Email and Physical Mail to Cadets
Parents and family members are welcome to send mail to cadets attending encampment.
Email:

- If multiple family members wish to send messages, please combine them into a single submission.

Physical Mail:
If you need to send physical mail to a cadet, please contact the encampment command staff at encampment@miwg.cap.gov for mailing details, as there are limitations on what mail we can receive at the Alpena CRTC.
